She found the name while reading a book in Vendebar’s library, and found it to be widespread among peasants.

She used it for the first time when she left Soborche to reach Gairech. As time went by, and her fame grew, she kept using Sarzanne as her alias, but was forced to disguise herself more, often wearing capes.
